Warranty and Consent
By completing this application for
a pre-approval of PLUS Loan with Rhode Island Student Loan Authority, the applicant warrants and represents that all statements,
representations, and warranties appearing in his application are correct,
being made by him (and expressly relied on by
RISLA
) to induce
RISLA
to approve his pre-approval application. Applicant also warrants that any
and all other papers in connection with this application are true and made
for the sole purpose for procuring a pre-approval. The applicant is at
least 18 years of age and a U.S. resident. Applicant hereby authorizes
RISLA
to order a consumer credit report and verify other credit information.
Applicant hereby authorizes
RISLA
to investigate his/her credit history and to report the credit experience of
any party or authorized user to credit bureaus or others. Applicant may also
request the name and address of the consumer reporting agency which provided
the report. If approved, I understand that this is not a guarantee of later
approval but an approval as of the day and date the credit report was run. A
final credit review will take place at the time the loan application is
processed.
If approved, I authorize
RISLA
to send me a PLUS Loan application.
This pre-approval request will appear on your credit report and other credit
grantors may consider multiple credit inquiries as a negative, and could be a
reason for denial of other loans.
